The index-based fuel surcharge for Fiji is based on the U.S Gulf Coast (USGC) kerosene-type jet fuel spot price. It will be adjusted monthly based on a rounded average of the spot price for a gallon of kerosene-type jet fuel, as published by the U.S. Energy Information Agency (EIA). Effective 1 January 2018, we have updated our fuel surcharge index table. The fuel surcharge will be adjusted monthly in line with the change in USGC kerosene-type jet fuel spot prices according to the following table:
Please note there will be a two-month lay in the application of the fuel surcharge index. For example, the monthly average spot price for jet fuel in Aprill will be published during the second week of May and used to determine the fuel surcharge in June.
TNT reserves the right to change the fuel surcharge index and table without notice. Both the amount and duration of the surcharge will be determined at TNT's sole discretion. If the Fuel Surcharge rises above the maximum value or drops below minimum value, or there are changes to the trigger points, the above table will be updated.
